After serving in
ministry for twelve years in the office of an evangelist,
Wm. Di'Mon Brown surrendered to the pastoral calling that
had been prophesied to him by his leadership. In 1997,
Pastor Brown established Joshua and Caleb Ministries, Inc.
and held JCMI’s first service in the living room of his
family’s home in Queens, New York. His beloved wife,
Angela, and their children, Talima, Marcel, and Di'Mon T.
(who is now with the Lord) were among the first JCMI
parishioners.
Then in 1999, with
Angela at his side, he began a Bible study fellowship at St.
John’s University. JCMI grew out of these meetings and
has continued building the legacy of becoming a united
family of worshipers seeking the truth of God’s Word. Now,
predominantly attended by a vibrant and youthful
congregation, JCMI is on the cusp of becoming a worldwide
ministry for the glory of God!
JCMI’s
vision is to raise up a mighty army of God, thoroughly
prepared to endure and overcome in these end times.
Functioning under a strong prophetic mantle, Pastor Brown
not only encourages his spiritual children to live with
purity and excellence according to the scriptures, he sets a
living example. The end result being a holy people,
empowered and equipped with the desire and ability to help
set free those who have been wounded and broken in spirit.
Every week, in
obedience to the Holy Spirit, Pastor Brown nurtures and
feeds his congregation with sound scriptural truths,
constantly reminding them of God’s great love. Full-time
in the pastorate, he spends his days tending the flock of
believers God has entrusted to his care. Added to his
pastoral duties, he travels across the country sharing an
uncompromising word that God has instructed him to tell the
faithful.
Pastor Brown and his family live in the Pocono region of
northeastern Pennsylvania. They faithfully commute four
hours every Sunday to minister to their congregation at the
JCMI
New York ministry facility.
